Website Performance
Fabric and wallpaper design house Jean Monro has been trusted by the world’s leading interior designers for almost half a century.
Founded in 1981, the brand is known for its range of English country-house chintz, with patterns inspired by the 18th, 19th and early 20th century.
Under the stewardship of Turnell & Gigon since 1998, the house’s extraordinary archive of original prints and hand blocks forms the foundation of everything it creates. Each pattern carries a history; each colourway is meticulously considered.
In recognition of this dedication to heritage and craft, Jean Monro was granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Elizabeth II in 2005, an honour proudly continued under HM King Charles III.
The
Challenge
Jean Monro’s existing website no longer reflected the quality, heritage, and breadth of its collections.
The Brand
We refined and extended the existing visual language to create a more expressive brand system.
We delivered an elevated typographic system, pairing elegant serif typefaces with subtle handwritten forms to reflect both the heritage and tactile nature of the archive.
A new stationery set was created to highlight some of the most loved fabrics from the collection.
The Website
The new digital experience combines rich imagery with intuitive navigation to support both specific searches and users seeking inspiration.
We carefully re-organised patterns, colourways, and product details to make it easy for interior designers to explore the archive.

The Results
The new brand and digital experience position Jean Monro for the future while honouring the heritage that has defined it for generations. Elegant, intuitive, and built for growth, the new website is a fitting platform for one of Britain’s most respected textile houses.
