Intelligent People is a leading boutique recruitment agency, connecting employers with specialist candidates across the UK.
Founded in 2002, Intelligent People recruits for product design, marketing, and product management roles.
The
Challenge
March was asked to create a new website that positioned Intelligent People as a leading product management recruiter.
In addition to the core business, a new sub-brand, “Partner Up: Product Mentorship” was introduced. This innovative initiative aimed to connect users with industry experts for mentorship.
The new recruitment website needed to be visually captivating and to cater to four distinct audiences: candidates, clients, mentors, and mentees.
With a focus on robust UX and SEO strategies, the goals were to enhance lead generation and encourage mentorship sign-ups. It was also imperative that the marketing team could swiftly and easily update content.
The Solution
March crafted the new recruitment website on WordPress with Elementor.
Utilising lean code, caching features, and image optimisation ensured quick loading speeds and provided a strong platform for organic SEO.
The website visuals incorporated illustrated pathways to effectively capture the essence of the brand.
These illustrations communicate Intelligent People’s mission of transforming and enhancing career trajectories.
March developed a smart job search feature tailored for candidates.
Jobs were presented as cards on the site and complemented by a smart filtering system, allowing job seekers to effortlessly locate opportunities by discipline or sector.
March developed several automations so the new recruitment website would work seamlessly with Intelligent People’s third party applications.
This included Broadbean, which allows Intelligent People’s team to write a job description on AdCourier and then publish it to several recruitment websites at once, including Monster, Reed and their own site.
March also redesigned all of Intelligent People’s brand assets, including business cards, stationery, pitch decks, roller banner and email templates.

Results
March delivered a clear, user-friendly recruitment website that conveys Intelligent People’s industry standing and provides a fulfilling experience for candidates, clients, mentors and mentees.
The new website has yielded above-expected results for its search engine visibility, achieving number 1 rankings for product management recruitment and its iterations.
The website has also earned several industry accolades for its accessible design, including UX and UI awards from CSS Design Awards.
